I Heart Haiti Mixer

Sunday afternoon, MoCADA in conjunction with the CCADI hosted an I Heart Haiti Mixer, as part of Re-imaging Haiti, a joint exhibition bewteen both organizations. Good music, great cupcakes, and a chance to see Le Project Nouveu, MoCADA’s contribution to the exhibit. Amazing art. And an even more amazing gift shop. StoryCorps, a national history project, was also in attendance. They will be recording the stories of all artists involved in the project. Make sure you visit their website and document your family’s history. Le Project Nouveu and Standing with Papa Legba, consisting of work by 12 artists are both on view until May 8, 2011. Make sure you check them out!! Support Ayiti!!!
