After congregational prayer Friday, a friend of mine treated me to lunch at this cute little Sushi spot on Bedford Ave. I’ve walked past this place so many times and never even recognized it. Sushi Tashu is a small establishment with outdoor seating for the summer months. But the most important aspect is, of course, the food.
Now let me admit this now. I’ve never had sushi before. Yes I know, I’m late but hey, I just never tried it. Well yesterday that all changed. I got a chance to try Shumai, and Shrimp Timpora roll. I also had their Lettuce Wrap, which wasn’t quite a wrap, and my friend had a Spicy Kani Salad and Soft Shell Crap. To top it off, we had Thai fried chicken. It was pretty tasty.
